Thank you for your interest in contributing content to the Optics & Photonics China web site. 

All submissions or questions should be sent to opticschina@osa.org. Please refer to the guidelines below before send us your materials.

Articles

Articles must be submitted in English or Chinese. It is preferred that you send your article in English and Chinese but this is not required. There is no length limit for articles, but titles are limited to 100 total characters. Please submit the following with your article:

• Author Name(s): Name, Affiliation, Title and Country
• Introduction/Abstract: 35‐50 words (limit 250 characters)
• Date: If the article is about an event or meeting, include the start and end dates of the event.
• Photos: Photos are encouraged and should be supplied as separate .jpeg files. They should be 218x145 pixels and no more than 4‐5 KB. Horizontal images are preferred.
• Photo Captions: No longer than 50 characters.

Meetings and Events

Information about meetings/events must be submitted in English. If possible please also include a translation into Chinese. Submission should include the following:

• Meeting/Event Name   
• Acronym (if applicable)  
• Dates
• Location: Venue, City, State/Province, Country
• Meeting/Event Summary: 35‐50 words (limit 250 characters)  
• Deadlines/Important Date：
• Web site
• Full Description
• Photos and Images

All photos and images must be submitted as .jpeg files, 218x145 pixels and no more than 4‐5 KB. Horizontal images are preferred. Captions of no more than 50 characters must be included in English plus Chinese if possible. Submissions may also be posted on the Optics and Photonics China Facebook page. Please also include the date photo was taken and where (Event/Meeting, Venue, City, State/Province, Country).

Academic and Industry/Corporate Listings

To include your organization in our resource listings please provide the following information:

• Organization Name
• Department (if applicable)  
• Full Mailing Address
• Telephone Number
• Fax Number
• Email Address
• Website URL
• Degree Programs (for academic institutions)   
• Products & Services (for corporations)  
• Contact Name
• Logo: Must be a .jpeg file
